Thinking about trading into this resort on Kauai. Good enough place?? We will only stay for 5 days-I've read mixed reviews.

I think that most of the Wyndham resorts are generally good. It is more the time of year that you are going which will make the difference as the location is on the rainy side of Kauai and as such, going in the winter will result in the chance of more rain and dampness than going in the summer. We have stayed in the Princeville area many times and almost always have had considerable dampness and rain in the winter season versus staying in the Poipu area where it is generally much sunnier all year around.

I beleive there is a chart with the times or year when more rain falls. Would someone pass along this chart.

We are considering Kauai the end of April 2013

We were there during the month of April. Had a nice time and only one night of rain.

Princeville Weather

And guess who is always in Princeville in late March? Moi!

Timing is everything. We keep threating to go to Princeville in the summer months so that we can enjoy the beaches without winds and the big swells have movee to the south side.

Cheers,

Paul
