All,

Jack and I head to Maui tomorrow after a wonderful week at WPORV.

This property rocks. Amazing we can access it easily with StarOptions. If it was mandatory I would buy it (yes I realize that is a bit of a contradiction).

Last year we were in building 5/hammerhead room and it was beautiful. This year we requested building 6 or 7 and they put us in a ground floor room in B7, facing the main grass area.

We requested these buildings because we love the grills on the bluff - what a view - and spent many evenings there. Having been here a week, I like being on this side of building 7 because the patio is shaded late in the day (when I want to sit there).

The other thing that is unique to my other Hawaii properties are the birds - there are so many of them and the birdsong is tremendous. This property is truly stunningly beautiful.

We had less rain than last year (and it didn't bother us last year). Typically 15-30 minutes after sunrise and then an occasional afternoon shower. Only once this week did it really rain in the afternoon for a couple hours, otherwise we could be anywhere in the islands.

Spectacular place - I wish it was mandatory.

Best,

Greg

Hi Greg - Did you do the plantation walk behind the minature golf?

Glad you are having a great trip Greg. Enjoy MOC next week!

Denise,

We didn't do that hike - my shoulder feels so good that we did the semi-adventurous Queens Bath hike and also the less-adventurous one down by Shipwreck Beach. Both hikes were terrific and the natural beauty of this island is amazing. I can see why you are such a fan.

Best,

Greg

Greg, enjoy next week at our resort and I know that you will. I can hardly wait to go back next year.

There are lots of birds at the Marriott too but you need different trees from palm trees mainly that are on the oceanfront. ;)

We stayed once all the way back at the Molokai tower where there is an enormous shade tree. It was lovely to hear all these birds but the lower floors would only see the tree in front of them.

Someone in the office, where former employee Stephanie worked, told me that there are owners who request staying here because of the shade and birdsong.

Once you are on the 4th or 5th floor you will see the ocean from the Lanai plus the mountain view because that stack of condos are corner units.

Have fun! Emmy

Outstanding. We have visited the resort several times, but have yet to stay there. We will have to make that happen at some point.

Enjoy your stay at MOC.

Best regards.
