Called WorldMark/Wyndham who said wait another 20+ weeks :-(

Wow, to say that’s excessive is an understatement. I think earlier this year/ maybe late last year, we waited a month after Docusign and that was only because we had some sort of glitch with receiving separate documents for each of us which we hadn’t realized (I think Cliff had blown his away rather than signing).

I'm going on 18 weeks since we sent in the first set of transfer documents and still haven't seen the Wyndham DocuSign yet. Maybe we are getting close, lol. A friend of ours sent in their transfer documents 11 weeks ago and received an email from the seller that the seller received the Docusign but our friend hasn't.

Generally, there is no law forcing a time frame on the transfer. There should be, imo.

I hope & pray it comes through sooner...
Have seen folks usually post 4-8 weeks after DocuSign but the WM/Wyn CS rep was fairy nonchalant & said don't bother us for another 20 weeks :-(
@zentraveler , I unfortunately did not get the kind & supportive folks you got...
Will try again & hopefully get more supportive folks...

My wait was 5 months (from early December 2024 through May 2025) for just the DocuSign :-(

Maybe it has something to do with the size of the membership, idk. We picked up a large membership. Our friends picked up 10K.

Updating: received email from Wyndham re 'password change' for Paymentus.
Called title services, who do show me as owner (with new member/contract number) but can't login as yet (as their login system does not reflect me as new owner & will take few days) but glad to see positive movement :)!
So, 2 weeks since DocuSign (did call & email them frequently during this time).
Hope yours gets done quickly also @easyrider !
Thx @zentraveler for giving me hope!
TY All TUG team!

That is encouraging. I hope so too but I won't hold my breath.

Worldmark used to be a fast transfer. I bought mine through Timeshare Angels, or a similar name, and it took a few weeks.

*Able to login to Paymentus but not WorldMark owner/reservation site; likely another few days, per CSR...
Verified no payment due on Paymentus until 7/1.
Getting there...

*Able to Login to WorldMark! Yay!
Looks like they did short me the December 2023 credits (as this was a fully loaded account).
will call them re this.
TY!

Yes they were. We bought a Timeshare Angels WM account back in the day. We also bought 120,000 one time use credits from them for a family reunion trip one year.

So, for the record, it turns out to be the current typical WorldMark transfer timeline, and it had nothing to do with the broker "dropping the ball" somehow?

The actual transfer following the completion of the Docusign takes 2-3 weeks, not "many more months."

fwiw - My early October purchase fully transferred mid-March, so your experience is nothing unusual (so far).

There is nothing any broker can do about Wyndham's transfer timeline.

On an account purchase/combine I did a little over a year ago, it took 10 weeks following the transfer for the accumulated credits to catch-up to the account. It had something to do with Owner Care, not Title Services, having responsibility for the credit transfer.

Owner svc dept said Title services can fix it...
Will see..

I just received a DocuSign email on a combo yesterday. I will follow up on the time it takes to show up as one ownership in my account.

Ours only took two weeks or so after DocuSign last September 2024. But it took many months and a lot of phone calls to get the DocuSign to both of us. Was a big relief to finally have it finished, and we are in a WM resort right now. We really like the WM system and the owner owned aspect of it, and I would consider getting more resale, but I don't think I want to go through getting Wyndham to get the deed through again.

Hello. We did our DocuSign on May 1st of this year and it was all done on 28 May with the new contract and points added to our other contracts.
Original purchase in early February on E-Bay. Say about 4 months start to finish.

That was for a Club Wyndham transfer, not a WorldMark transfer?
