Transfer times getting shorter

I guess there's always time for Wyndham to claw this back, but my contract hit my account today after a Paymentus email heads-up yesterday and...the contract appeared in my account with a January use year (that is, no sign in my account of it having been realigned) and awarded current-year points!! To say I was surprised would be an understatement!

Now I have to figure out exactly what I want to do with them, but considering what I was expecting they're basically free points. I think Hawaii is in our future sometime in the next 1-2 years and I know there are some decent options in RCI.

How long did the transfer take? Once Wyndham, received all the documents to start the process on their end.

Sent our recorded deed and $399ctransfer fee on 3/13, Wyndham shows it was recieved and processing started on 3/20. At 10-11 weeks now. Called Wyndham yesterday and they said it's taking 10-16 weeks to complete and I should recieve docuforms to sign soon. I was not aware that if it was a deeded ownership and a copy of recorded deed was sent to them there would be more documents for buyer and seller to sign before Wyndham can make the ownership change in their system.

The closing company sent everything to Wyndham around February 14, so assuming it took a week or so to reach them, looks like around 14 weeks give or take.

Put them as a guest reservation under your wife's name or who ever is traveling with you.

I would be concerned about the reservations the current owner booked for you. I did not think existing reservations would transfer. Anyone had that happen?

I would, too. This does not seem consistent with normal Wyndham behavior of gobbling
outstanding reservations during transfer, reported on TUG many times.

Maybe -- just maybe -- if the reservations were made by depositing to RCI?? Cuz then
the points would be gone from the Wyndham account and stuck (or safe havened?) on
the RCI side?

But then you face the no-guest-checkins-on-RCI restriction, right? Maybe, just maybe,
if the seller was available in person for the check-in location and date.

I'm sure we'd be all happy to learn my suspicions are wrong. Can anyone offer a success story?

Is it your first Club Wyndham contract? If so, you need to call to get your Member Number.

Update on Transfer of ownership. I talked to title services today and the rep said it transferred as of this morning 6/04. It's the only Wyndham ownership I have left. But I could still log in and see all my information and current use year points. A copy of recorded deed and transfer fee was sent USPs on March 13th. Wyndham entered it as in process in their system march 20th. Maintenence fee Auto pay canceled at 8pm today.

Mine transferred today but title services told me it takes another 48-72 hours to get my member services account setup. I can login to paymentsus amd see my MF due and see member # and contract #. I just can’t register yet on on CW site

All 717k points came over on my PCB CWS contract from a fellow TUG'er owner. It was a great experience working with the TUG owner who allowed me to make a couple of reservations on this contract. We did a 4-night stay in a 2BR PR at Bonnet Creek and still have a booking for 2 BR PR at Clearwater (showing in his portal with me as a guest). I'm hoping the Clearwater reservation does not get canceled as it’s a Thanksgiving week reservation. Somehow, even with these reservations (1 complete, 1 pending), CW still provided the full 717k points to me for 2025.

Mine took about 12 weeks from time LT sent to WynDumb. It takes a few days for the points to be adjusted. I had one transfer in several years back, and it was within a week of the end of the use year, so I moved them all to rci. Basically, they took all my next use points for the ones I thought I had.

E-Bay purchase in early February this year. DocuSign showed up early May and all closed by end of May with points added
to my previous Wyndham account/contracts. All January memberships. A bit under 4 months to get it all done.
