There is a Worldmark 6000 points/credits contract for sale on e-bay---starting bid of over $11,000. I contacted the seller, and suggested he look at the current e-bay offerings for Worldmark points, so he might want to adjust his price, and therefore have a hope in selling his points.

His reply to me was ---"Why would i choose to sell something for about $4,200 when I paid about $12,000 for it myself? I have not used a single credit and I don't think I would cut the purchase price by 2/3".

As usual, some people "haven't a clue" !!!

Q. I bought my house two years ago for $500,000, why should I sell it today for $350,000??

A. Because if you want or need to sell it now, that what a similar houses are selling for. DUH!!

"Denial is not just a river in Egypt."
But the ol' head-in-the-sand approach works for some people, at least for a little while.
