Planning a winter trip and looks like plenty of rental availability at this resort. Could anyone tell me which type unit would be the best chance to get full bay front view (not up the hill behind another building). Units offered are two bedroom, two bedroom loft, or two bedroom deluxe. We don’t mind stairs so a split level unit would be okay.

Thanks!

These units are all townhomes with the exception of the ADA units. The Deluxe are upstairs above the ADA unit and have more stairs to the master BR. The noise insulation is almost non-existent between these types of units. I avoid these.
The 2 BR and 2 BR lofts are all townhomes. Master in the basement, up half a flight to the main entrance, up half a flight to the LR/Kitchen, up half a flight to full bathroom, up half a flight to the twin (a few queens) BR. The lofts have an extra sofa sleeper on the landing outside the door of the upper BR. The 2 BR are on the water, but there aren't very many of these and WM doesn't own all of them. Even in the winter, these can be difficult to book. The lofts are in the 2 rows of buildings up the hill. The way they are constructed means there are plenty of good views out over the water either between buildings or over the top of them. Most of the lofts are in the 2nd row of buildings with half of that row on a bluff with no buildings blocking. The other half look over the top of the smaller row of 2 BR. So book a 2 BR if available, but don't mind too much if all you can get is the loft. If you are renting; pretty good odds you are getting a loft.

We reserved a 2 bed unit and ended up on the water on the North end of the building. Our lower deck was to our master bedroom was very close to the water. The main deck was above the water , larger and had a bbq. I reserved this 13 months out is why we ended up so close to the water.

From what I could tell, all of the units going up the hill have a good view. Our trip was in late August. We brought our boat for crabbing. The squid were running and the dock was an easy place to fill a bucket with squid. I'm not a fan of squid.

Folks, any options for mobility impaired folks at Discovery bay? (Looks like steps to & in the suites), @dioxide45 , @easyrider & @sue1947 ?
Which may be the best, for someone with mobility impairment?
How is June to visit Olympic national park?
TY!

Our room on the water had a flight of stairs to the the downstairs master bedroom and a flight to the upstairs bedroom. The resort is on a hill with the downhill units on the water front. Like geist said, call the resort.
