The Minnesota Timberwolves, who trailed by as many as 20 points in the third quarter on Sunday night at Ball Arena, stormed back to defeat the Denver Nuggets in Game 7, knocking out the NBA's defending champions in the second round.

So it looks like the defending champs are out. There has never been a city to win an NBA and NHL championship in the same year. I wonder if Dallas this year might be the first to do it.
