Is the electric in Mexico (WLR) the same as USA for cell phone, camera, IPOD etc... chargers

Yes, electric outlets at the WLR are 110 volts, just like the USA.

We recently returned from a wonderful visit. You'll have a great time.

The outlets look a little different but they are the same (110). We plugged in our phones, ipods, Wii, gameboys, etc. with no problems.

On a related note, it's interesting that there are significantly less number of outlets in WLR than other US based Westin resorts. I suppose Mexico has different building standards. I had to be creative in plugging my computer in (using a kitchen outlet)... Next time I might even bring an extension cord.
