Today I was confirmed into a 2 bedroom at Westin Kierland Villas. My confirmation from II said I was confirmed into unit 210201. Does that mean this is the unit I will actually occupy? Can someone give me more information about this unit. Whatever the unit, I'm sure we will be thrilled just to be staying here.

The unit number on your confirmation will not be the room your get upon arrival. Rooms at Starwood resorts are not assigned until about a week or two before arrival.

Your trade was for a lock-off unit, which consists of rooms 2101 and 2102.

PS - Congratulations on your trade. Kierland is a terrific resort!

Thanks for the information, Tomandrobin. We are Marriott owners and have stayed in 2 bedroom lockoffs, meaning the unit has two bedrooms, one of which is a small lockoff unit. Is that the same kind of unit I'll be having at the Kierland Villas?

You are exactly correct in your assumption. The floor plans and pictures of the rooms and resort are located here: www.starwoodvo.com

You'll love it.

erm, "Today I was confirmed into a 2 bedroom at Westin Kierland Villas. My confirmation from II said I was confirmed into unit 210201"

You have been confirmed into a 2 bedroom lockoff unit. You are in Building 2, 1st (ground) floor, Units 02 and 01 (connecting 1 bedroom units). One unit is larger than the other. It has a a king bed (rather than a queen), a walk-in shower (rather than shower over the bathtub, but both bathtubs are whirlpools), a slightly larger balcony, dinner seating for 6 (rather than 4), a better cooking oven and a fireplace. I think only the larger unit has LCD TVs in the bedroom and living room. The smaller units has regular TVs both places.

You should love Kierland Villas. Take the free shuttle and visit the shopping center for really good eating and shopping. Enjoy! :)

James, thanks for the link and jarta, thanks for the detailed unit information. We feel fortunate to get this trade and are really looking forward to staying at a Starwood property.
