We received a confirmation from Interval for WKORN for a 2 bedroom. Is anyone familar with the unit code DZZAB. In addition, as a Vistana owner, how likely are we to be put into a unit that matches the Interval code.
It depends on the resort. Are you saying at Ko'Olina that your confirmation was for an ocean view yet they assigned you to island view? It is possible you had island view yet just got the worst island view assignment. We've exchanged into ocean view at KoOlina once and were given the ocean view.Do resorts honor Interval reservation codes?
Even as owners at Ko'Olina we received [Interval-Exchange] a Parking-Lot view.
The best they did for us as owners was upgrade us to a higher floor with a Parking-lot view.
I found it. It's an Island view. Are the Island views OK at WKORN? If it is a view of the mountains, I'm good with that.If you have the Marriott confirmation number, you can lookup the unit type and assigned view on Marriott.com.
They are fine. Usually inward facing in building 6 looking over the koi ponds with a sneek peek out to the ocean.I found it. It's an Island view. Are the Island views OK at WKORN? If it is a view of the mountains, I'm good with that.
Yes, I love any unit at WKORN, if it's an exchange. You are likely to be on the main floor, overlooking the pirate pool. Cannot say the same about getting a parking lot/ mountain view at the south building. I begged for them to give us something different years ago, and they wouldn't give us a better view. It was an exchange, and I am always happy to get anything via exchange. Now I never take an exchange for south.I found it. It's an Island view. Are the Island views OK at WKORN? Personally I'd stay with WKORVN. There is a chance of parking structure views at Nanea unless you get OF.I can trade the 2 Bdrm WKORN week for a 2 Bdrm at The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas. I think I should keep WKORN. Thoughts?

In my experience, *usually* you get the view represented by the unit code, but they specifically point out that the view designated isn’t a guarantee. I suspect that if (for example) they need to move someone on an owner reservation to a room of that type, they won’t hesitate to downgrade an Interval trade to do so. II trades usually work out well but you should know that you’re low man on the totem pole, so to speak.I just receied an "HOVOG " which I think is studio portion of an ocean view at WKORV...anythoughts on that being honored?
And would folks find it desirable?

No, once you take an exchange, you have to book what you can see online with eplus retrade. No more ongoing searches. It's too bad. I could do well with that option.I got this unit for my MGC studio ( so I was OK with it) and it is next July 30, also, I did take ePlus. I would like to move to WKORVN...can you do an ongoing search? I did not see that option for ePlus.
