Winners Circle Beach and Tennis Resort

I have stayed at Winner's Circle twice. It's fine. The units were clean and fairly comfortable, and the location is convenient for San Diego attractions (except for the traffic).

The resort is laid out much like a low rise motel with the swimming pool in the courtyard. It is located on a busy road just off I-5 and across the street from the Del Mar racetrack. It's only about a mile to the beach.

There isn't a lot of ambiance nor many amenities, but it's a decent place to stay.

Solana Beach is a town or two up the freeway from LaJolla and in a great Northern San Diego location. Winner's Circle is not beach front and it is an older resort. I own here and I find that the resort is well run. The one bedroom and two bedroom units have not yet been refurbished but they are fine - just not fancy. I believe most of the studios have been refurbished and they are very nice studios. It is not the Marriott by any means but depending on where you want to go and what you want to do in Southern California it could work out well for you. Funtime

There is a great fish restaurant next door
"The Fish Market"

And down on the beach in Del Mar Jake's YUM
