Will the Aventura Spa Palace let me change my check in day?

As usual I could only get my Feb 2009 FF tix for Sun-Sun and my RCI exchange at Aventura is Sat-Sat. RCI says they do not have a Su-Su week (yet, as always, they have a bajillion weeks with check in ANY day in Feb in extra vacations) and if they did they would charge me $119 as a cancellation and rebooking fee- I would pay it but they say they have nothing. It is stupid for me to try to change my rezzie with the resort? I did not know if anyone had had such a dilemma and if they had any luck. With 800 rooms I doubt they will be anywhere near full considering the hefty price of their AI (even though I got a real deal at half off) so maybe they would let me??? Ya think?? Maybe??:shrug:
 
Their hefty AI is worth every penny - they were pretty well booked up when we were there last year, and that was at full price. With the half off special I certainly wouldnt be suprised if every room was booked for the whole year.
 
WEll, the half off is only for an exchange- on extra vacations they have tons of weeks but the AI is full price at around $2,500. I did email them and ask if I could change my checkin/checkout by one day and said if they could accommodate that I would be happy to take their sales presentation. Maybe this will do the trick. Not having much luck. I thought about watiting until I got there and asking for another night on the end but thought it may be risky. Phone calls to Palace were handled nicely but neither Palace nor RCI could assist me and because I have a great promotional rate there were only a number of units available. RCI did not have a Sunday check in at the half off rate left at Av. Palace, but they did have Sun Palace- they are both adults only so all is good there. After sleeping on it we decided to take that. I HATE packing up and relocating one day before we have to leave. Big plus is Sun Palace's lovely, long, walkable beach. I really want to see Playa so we willl take the bus there for the day and check out Playacar Palace. Not sure if we will get to Coz.
