Does anyone know whether stay at harborside count towards MR nights? I understand it is a Starwood property, but it seems you could also book stays at harborside from Atlantis website, which belongs to Marriott.

I have two units of the same week booked at harborside, one for my parents, and one for my friends, I've read on this board that if the stay counts for MR and neither of my guests have MR #, I can ask to count the stay under my MR#, do I just ask them to check in with their own ID and my MR#? Can I get both units of the same week count towards my MR stay?

A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
No. Stays at other parts of Atlantis would count but not harborside even if you booked through the Marriott site using cash.

Can you even book a stay at Harbourside through Marriott.com? I don't think that is the case. You can book stays at Atlantis and those stays will count for nights and points.

The official website for "Atlantis, Island Hotel Company Limited" at http://www.atlantisbahamas.com does not belong to Marriott. You can book accomodations at Atlantis through this website, including Harborside Resort at Atlantis (Starwood Vacation Network) and five Atlantis resorts affiliated with Autograph Collection (a Marriott brand).

If you book through Marriott.com with your Marriott Rewards number, Harborside Resort at Atlantis is not an option.

Can you get Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) points for Harborside Resort at Atlantis? If so, that MIGHT be a way to get Marriott Rewards (MR) points. Marriott has agreed to buy Starwood. The deal should close this year. It's already been announced that the MR and SPG loyalty programs will be combined. There are not yet any details about how the programs will be combined or when it will happen.

I think you can earn points on a stay there, perhaps even nights. Though I dont' think owners staying on their home ownership or II exchange at a Starwood timeshare property earn nights toward SPG elite status.
