Why don't more owners resell through Marriott?

Well, husband takes a month a year vacation time. We use one week in a day here and there. Last year we took a two week Baltic cruise and next year we are doing a two week Alaska cruise. We just are having trouble using our three weeks when we are starting to enjoy other methods of vacationing so we just decided to let one week go. We still have our MMC platinum and Grand Ocean gold and I can't ever see us letting go of those
