Two thumbs up - and you're both on my list! As is RosePink of course, Passepartout, Ace2000, Elaine, Denise and Denise, Fern, Heathpack, Pianodinosaur, Vacationhopeful, Zac495, BoaterMike.....and many many more...pwrshift...awaywego, Troggie, Ricoba..... Geekette, Ken555, SDKath, Liz, PGnewarkboy, glypnirsgirl, laurac, and ScoopLV...and more....
the only problem would be we'd all be talking at once!
Wow, I feel honored, unless of course there are two Laurac's on here!
Hmmm, interesting thread. Let's see:
I think I'm probably going to turn this into a bucket list, but here goes:
I'd like to see Prince perform. Yes he's a bit quirky, but he has incredible talent.
I'd really, really like to meet Freddy Mercury. Yes, I know, dead, but he was also amazingly talented, and painfully misunderstood.
I'd like to have a day with my grandma. She was born in 1901. Her dad used to take her to watch the Wright Brothers fly their planes. I wish I had asked more questions about her life when I had the chance.
Ok, enough dead people. I'd like to see George Clooney
up close, and Jason Statham too, especially if all his shirts are in the wash that day,
I'd like to meet Martin Sheen so I can ask him if he remembers my parents when he was growing up, I'd like to have a couple drinks with Ron White, I'd like to have an intellectual conversation with Marilyn Manson (turns out the guy is very insightful and intelligent, I'd like to find out what makes him tick), I'd like to laugh my @$$ off with Richard Pryor (yes I know, dead), or Robin Williams. I'd also like to have a political conversation with Karl Rove, only because he is one of the most politically brilliant people I have ever seen in action. His behaviors may be at best questionable, but his mind processes politics on a level I have not ever seen, and I'd like to have a completely off the record conversation with him about current and historical politics.
