WHO MAKES LG TVS AND WHERE ARE THEY BUILT?

Good to know. I'd like the washing machines to go back to using more water rather then taking forever to run a load

I’ve never cared about where something is made. I care about quality and cost. I buy the best I can afford.

Simple solution: buy a Speed Queen. Made in the US, high quality, and have more traditional wash cycles — you can have it fill up the tub if you want. We love ours!

Us too for the most part but I do like quality items. Occasionally I get bit in the rear buying something I have to live with for a while. Our energy saver dishwasher that takes 3 hours to run a load is something I will never buy again.

Very interesting about LG. We recently replaced our Washer and Dryer with an LG Tower unit. We downloaded the LG ThinQ app and registered the washer dryer on that. We also linked our LG Tvs to the app. Now when the washer or dryer cycles end, a pop up notification appears on the TV screen if we’re watching.

LG is at the top of my list when purchasing home appliances and TVs. From my experience, they make excellent products with tons of features that have a long lifespan.

Yes I have since read about this solution, very tempting .

They aren’t flashy machines. No fancy electronics, displays, WiFi, etc. They look much like the Maytags of 20+ years ago. But they simply work and they don’t break down.

Yes! Speed Queen is the old style traditional washer. Very basic and white paint. You decide the water level which is great. Lasts for years as it does one thing well...... wash cloths. No Wi-Fi, no fancy anything. Perfection.

I've never had a problem with LG appliances but the repairmen around here won't touch them. You learn a lot from appliance repairmen!

Maybe repairmen don’t like them because they rarely need to be repaired. That’s been my experience with LG products.

I posted a link to this site earlier about Whirlpool
The site is much more
If a person has a question about which products are "Made in America"
This site probably has the answer
It is infamous for finding products with claims and implication that the product is made in America when it is not
I have it bookmarked in my browser

I also purchased last year the LG Washer / Dryer Stacked Unit and have been very pleased with it.
