I have someone interested in taking over my Wyndham deed (189,000 bi-annual converted fixed week) at Star Island. Please message me asap what you charge and costs for the buyer, so I can let her know and confirm the deal. Thank you so much!

Keep in mind that no matter who handles the closing, Wyndham will also charge its' own gratuitous $299 "transfer fee" to complete the transfer of ownership after a new deed has been officially recorded. It might be wise to address this unavoidable detail with your potential buyer, so that there are no last minute surprises and that there is advance informed knowledge regarding this unwelcome detail (...and reach agreement as to which one of you will cover this unavoidable cost).

Ordinarily, I would always recommend LT Transfers as a closing entity, as would many others here on TUG, but I seem to vaguely recall reading recently that LTT will no longer handle Wyndham transactions; I may be mistaken regarding that vague recollection.

Thank you so much. The potential buyer is a current Wyndham owner who said she has purchased resale before. She thought the transfer was 399. So maybe she’ll be even more excited about 299. 😊
I’ll try to find contact info for LTT. if anyone here has a great, please don’t hesitate to share!

She might very well be correct about the higher figure. My cited cost might now be obsolete; it wouldn't surprise me if that was the case.
Go to LTtransfers.com for details regarding LTT contact info, phone #, email, fees. I hope I'm wrong about LTT no longer handling Wyndham transactions. Good Luck!

They will handle the transfer, IF the buyer and seller will accept the truth that Wyndham takes 6 months or even more to do a transfer. The constant nagging of the closing company on updates is entirely unnecessary, and why should LT put up with that, when the delay is on Wyndham's end, and Wyndham doesn't update them. Wyndham is the worst company for these transfers. Absolutely the worst.

I don’t think so. I originally purchased it resale. It stayed points for me. So assuming it will still do the same for the new person.

We purchased it about 20 years ago. If someone knows if that has changed, I would love to know that too! Thanks so much.

The Marriott resale week I just purchased took longer to transfer then any of my 5 Wyndham contracts.
