Who has a touch screen PC?

Just wondering if any TUGgers have a touch screen desktop PC, and if so, whether it's particularly more useful in any way? It's a concept I've never really understood and thus I've never been interested in owning such a unit, but since I don't have one I may be missing something. They are certainly becoming more ubiquitous. Anyone have one?

I own one and haven't found much use for the touchscreen ability. Of course, I have not run across programs that take advantage of it yet. I am sure that will be changing. Its not like I paid extra for the touchscreen. I got a good price on the pc regardless of that ability.

I have 3 that have a touchscreen, a laptop and 2 all-in-one hp desktops....I rarely use the touch screen capability..... it's really not a feature you will find as a "by itself, add on". Find the computer you want and then if it has a touchscreen great, if not, no big deal.

I'm writing this on a touch screen smart phone, so the tech has it's place. I think it's more useful for retail like stores and restaurants than for home use. I prefer a pc hooked up to HD TV with wireless mouse and keyboard if I'm splurging on home PC.

I have a handheld PC with a touchscreen that I use all the time. When using a small unit like that on the go, the touchscreen takes the place of the mouse. I used to have an old Jornada 728 that I recently replaced. I held out on buying the replacement till I found one I liked with the touchscreen. I can see where it is essential on a tablet and might be used on some applications on a laptop, but it seems like you might be sitting too far from the screen for it to be very useful on a desktop setup.
