I purchased a 2 bedroom lockout 52 week float at Sheraton Desert Oasis, and am trying to sign up for an II account. It wants to know the code for the resort, and has a number of choices. SDI, SO1, SI3, SI2, SI1. The last three in the list say Gold/Gold Plus/Platinum respectively, so I think those are probably the codes for the starwood sold units that can only book 1 season.

Does anyone know the difference between SDI and SO1? They have the same address and resort name.

If you look at your deed description in your Acct., I think it lists the code. I "think" it is SDI, but you should check.

My SDO 1-52 float was coded as SI2.

I couldn't find this online (it's not under "what I own" at starwoodvacationnetwork.com with my deed/contract information). Of course, it's quite possible I'm looking in the wrong place.

I called SVO, and the rep told me mine is SI2. She seemed confused about what I was asking, but since that was an unprompted response and its one of the choices, I think its probably the right answer, at least for me.

Thanks for the help everyone.

This is more complicated than I thought it would be...

II's website refused to let me register, so I had to call in. After 30 minutes of discussion and gathering information (that I could have typed in <1 minute), the rep told me that SI2 only has a space for fixed week owners, which is of course ridiculous since I'm almost positive fixed weeks were never sold at SDO. On conference call with Starwood, the Starwood rep confirmed that I do own a floating week in SI2, and that they'd fix it somehow on their end.

Of course, now I'm concerned that this is going to hurt my trading power, since my week is deeded in the summer, even though it floats 52 weeks. I suppose I'll see once they get my week linked to my account.

Any ideas how long that typically takes?

PS Sorry to bump my own thread. I hate it when people don't follow up with what happened, so thought I'd post an update if someone else has a similar question later.
