which resort best at palm springs/desert area?

My mother and father are going to use a week in the Palm Springs/ Desert area since they can't get San Diego area. What is the best choice over the marriott locations? or possibly the Palm Canyon Resort Choices??

The Paln Caynon resort is nice but mostly for families. For older adults, Marriott Deserts Spring or Shadow ridge are the places to go. If you can get into Club Intrawest it's always nice too.

which marriott at palm desert?

thanks and I will join TUG since I am on here all the time though I personally own no timeshares; my mother/father do as do my in-laws.
I am still trying to figure out which resort is best suited for them: marriott shadow Ridge, Desert Villas I or Desert Villas II. I am leaning more towards Desert villas I because they get free spa use at the big marriott hotel.

As far as tug goes. It is a WEALTH of info that any timeshare owner should not do without! I have learned alot about timeshare in's and out's by this site. ( I appear to my mom's travel agent!!)
