Yes. I bought my EOY Bella 2br Plat for $100 back in the day. I haven’t rented points yet but I think that’s a great option without the burden of ownership.

I did buy before the cut off and am enrolled. what do you mean by rent abound Points? meaning convert to club points?

My issue is that MF on Abound points are so high that renting points only makes sense if you have a small amount needed to rent for a few days, or to backfill a larger lower cost enrolled unit reservation from a unit you own.

Alternatively if you can find a legit owner with lower cost enrolled deed and they are willing to reduce their price against the going rate.

I was pricing out some prospective Abound reservations and they came to about $4000/week at the going rate of .71 cents per point. That's too rich for me. I can find much less expensive ways to stay a week in the same location.

I’m no expert but you can pay other Marriott owners to send points to your account.
