Which Decade Had the Best Music?

I voted for the 70's but really like the music from many of the other decades...I was a teenager in late 70's early 80's..

I listen to a lot of 70's, New Wave music, as well as jazz, country and even classical..

There were some of the greatest hits in the 70s. That's my favorite decade for sure. We had Queen, Rolling Stones, Elton John, artists I still listen to nowadays. There was R&B, pop, and rock music. And not only the songs, but the lyrics themselves. I mean, take a look at the current global charts music. The songs are full of bad words with no sense at all. I remember hearing a Kanye West song... the song was already bad enough, and they made it even worse with the music video. I can't remember its name, but it has a big, tall woman in it, and they call her in every bad word possible. Not in my taste for sure!

70s would be my vote for best music, and best decade period. I graduated HS in 72, saw the most live concerts in the 70s, most of the Bill Graham stadium day on the greens. Got all that partying out of my system, I didn't get married until I was 35, have your fun when young my mom always told me. 80s wasn't bad but there were some strange trends like punk rock and hair bands.
