When will extra vacations in Cancun be available?

I called RCI on Tuesday and was told that the resort I was interested in - Adventura Spa Palace was going to be released on Wednesday for reservations. I called this morning and was told that ALL resorts in Cancun are on hold until April. I looked at the extra vacations and see that there are some resorts listed in Cancun.... so my question, should I keep checking or is there a date when I can request an exchange or extra vacation in Cancun. Just FYI I am looking for a February date.

Information about the status of Cancun resorts is changing daily. Keep an eye on the rci.com Travel Advisory. It provides a listing of resorts that have been impacted by hurricanes or other issues and their statuses. You will simply see "Available" or "Unavailable" next to each resort. This information is updated almost daily as changes are reported.
