No hugs for 8 little grandkids since March 15. That will change next week when I go back to babysitting them since their dad returns to work. The baby gets scared when I wear a mask so I’m just babysit maskless, and hope I don’t catch anything!

I had not hugged my grandchildren in over three weeks - gave in last Sunday and gave them a hug. Three with one son (under 6) and 1 with my other son (1 yr. old). Could not wait any longer. We do FaceTime all the time and it makes me miss them even more. (We don't go anywhere except for grocery every two weeks - more worried about getting sick from them than us getting them sick).

We got to see our older grandkids 13 days ago, and that was a lot of fun.

We get to hug our little Bella today at 3 PM for her 3rd birthday. We have been Face-Time chatting with her for 7-8 weeks, and that gets old. She doesn't want to be in front of the camera, so they have to chase her around to keep her on the screen. She likes to show us her toys and stuffed animals. She misses us, I can tell. She will be so happy to see us in person.

The older two grandkids (10 and 13) will be at Bella's birthday celebration today.

We are keeping the group under 10, as per the guidelines by Governor Polis. That just seems so odd to think that we cannot see everyone at once, or we might get into trouble. Our other son, daughter-in-law and their two little ones are not coming, and maybe it's best for them to not come, since the baby is 10 months, but the older grandkids will also be there.

March 6, when my grandson left his dorm and drove home for Spring Break. Never came back, of course. Other grandson is at home, 5 1/2 hours away.

If the subject were, "When is the last time you bugged your grandkids," I'd say 10 years ago when I asked them to clear the table after dinner, and the younger one refused, saying, "My mom does that!!!".
