When does Scottsdale Camelback Resort bulk spacebank?

Hi,

Does anyone know when Scottsdale Camelback Resort does their bulk space banking? I'm looking for a particular week next April and hopefully they have not deposited any for this month yet.

Thanks Harry, I will. I'm glad to know that you can deposit a year in advance too. I just bought 3 June weeks that I want to deposit for April weeks, but the transfer hasn't come through yet. I just love it there, even the studio is a nice size. Vicki

Vicki, we used to own fixed week 47 at Camelback, if we wanted to go to the Camelback at a different time of year, we would notify the resort and ask them to bank our unit with RCI. Once your unit is banked, you would then pay your exchange company the exchange fee and try to trade back in.
You can bank one year prior to the start date and you can use it to trade for 2 years after the start date.
I agree, it is a beautiful resort and you can't beat the location.

If I owned at Camelback, and the front desk or management personnel answered that question, I would attempt to make sure they were fired.

As an owner, my firt priority would be to make sure that owner's trade power was maximized. My second priority would be to make sure that owner's, who wanted different weeks, were able to get a heads up on bulk banking. My third priority would be to eliminate bulk banking. And my last priority would be to help non-owners get a jump on good weeks.

Now, if I were Vicki and wanted to trade in, I would do the same thing she's doing.

SCR is primarily all fixed weeks (I think there is a points option through RCI but my impression is that very few owners have converted to it). Because of that, I think that owners can bank up to 2 years ahead. I've never had SCR bank my weeks. I've always banked directly with RCI or II. But even if you were to bank through SCR, it seems to me that it would have to be banking your week right after the request is made so that you would have the banked week on your record. Since SCR is "mature" timeshare, I think there are relatively few weeks that are owned by timeshare association and might be bulk banked. All in all a long way of saying that I don't think that there's much bulk spacebanking going on there so if you are looking for a particular week, you should probably just keep searching.

Yes, you can bank your week 2 years prior to the start date and travel with that week one year prior to the start date and up to 2 years after the start date. I originally mentioned banking one year prior - sorry, my mistake.
When we were owners they were all fixed weeks.
I really don't think June weeks would have a great trading power, as it is way too hot to be there at that time.

I really don't think June weeks would have a great trading power, as it is way too hot to be there at that time.

I received 3 weeks for this May/June 2006 which the seller deposited into RCI while the sale is closing and I was able to trade back in for one week next April even with just depositing the week, so I'm hoping that trading back in will be relatively easy, even with my May/June weeks.

Check in April 8,15,22,and 29
For June I am pulling studios, 2 and 3 bedroom units.
With you being an owner at SCR, you should get priority.
