When does HGVC King’s Land deposit to RCI?

I was wondering if King’s Land units get deposited in bulk at a specific time of year and if so when, or are they just Radomly deposited when available?

HGVC does a bulk deposit into RCI more than a year in advance.

For example,
  • The bulk for January 2024 through Jun 2024 dates was sighted in RCI in January 2023 (link)
  • The bulk for July 2024 through December 2024 dates was sighted in RCI in April 2023 (link)
NOTE: The peak weeks will be grabbed first.

Also, if you're a HGVC owner, Hilton has blocked access to HGVC deposits into RCI WEEKS inventory (via the HGVC web portal) until 9 months before check-in (which aligns with the Club reservation window).

If you're looking for a stay in 2025, it's best to put in your ongoing search before the end of 2023 and watch the TUG Sightings Forum - https://tugbbs.com/forums/forums/sightings-distressed.3/

It's definitely possible if availability pops up within the 9-month window.
Since HGVC's bulk deposit occurs outside the 9-month window, availability will mostly come from a RCI cancellation. A HGVC owner will need to setup an OGS with a wide range of months to catch one of these cancellations.

Here are some examples of King's Land sightings within the 9-month window (compare the sighted date to the check-in date).

NOTE: I haven't heard whether an OGS by a HGVC owner will pick up a bulk week even though we can't view it via HGVC's web portal. It's something to try.

Thanks for the info. We are planning for fall of 2025, so I’ll make sure I start an ongoing search by the end of this year.

I have multiple RCI accounts, one for Wyndham, one for HICV. So I just use those accounts to book a HGVC when they are deposited, instead of within 9 months as I am restricted to on my HGVC RCI account.

I have done this when I know I needed multiple bookings, or if I had other plans for HGVC but wanted to book another unit. It used to be that HGVC owners did not have to pay the daily resort fee through RCI, but I think now you do. So that is additional cost to consider. what you save in points, you like payout in Resort fees.
