When are points deducted

Hi tuggers

I couldn't find the answer via the search function so here goes:

2.5 weeks ago I made a RCI reservation, but the points stil hasen't been deducted from my account yet - does it normally take this long?

In the past the points were normally gone within a week or so.

My problem is, that I would like for my rescued points to had been used, now since a also made a club reservation yesterday that reservation took the rescued points and some of my current years points.

In the past I had success moving the points from one reservation to another, but I had to call in, and I could do without the trouble.

Another thing what would happen if I used the points which was meant for the RCI reservation on a club reservation. Would HGVC then cancel the RCI or club reservation? or would they contact me first?

On Jan 29th we booked a week in Williamsburg through RCI. The points were deducted today Feb 11th. I called RCI Monday and they told me that the points are manually deducted and the number of HGVC/RCI trades is very high right now.

Thanks for your answer.

The points have been deducted now. If I for some Reason needs to cancel the club reservation I need to move the points around so my rescued points are used instead of my club points.
