At the beginning of the year, we owned two Marriott units (Waiohai and Kauai Beach Club) that were enrolled in the DC and worth a combined 8450 DC points. That equals Executive status and we paid the requisite fee for the year.
We since sold the KBC unit (to Marriott actually, on a pre-Covid ROFR) but retained our reservation for this December. That puts us at under 7000 DC points.
Well, we're not going to Hawaii this December due to Covid. We intend to cancel the reservation more than 60 days in advance and deposit it into Interval.
My questions are whether this KBC unit is still part of my Marriott ownership -- including the ability to use the "free" corporate Interval account? And am I still "Executive" until year end?
