What week to deposit?

Looked up TDI and multiple weeks are on the far right. Are they all the same or is there anyway to know if one is better.
Trying to pick week to deposit.
So are 4,5,7-17 all the same as far as trade power.

Supposedly. I still try to pick a week I know is spring break for schools, or even President's week can be very popular, but my weeks for deposit are in Palm Desert. Similar platinum season.

Basically, yes, but every region has its quirks. If you don't have any better intel, I'd pick 10-15 which will include various spring breaks.

That was always my assumption too, but was wondering if anyone knew.
And the week six low TDI is strange

I don’t know that there is any proof that II considers anything other than the chart number when factoring TDI into trading power.
Considering festivals or college breaks, etc would require human research and manipulation for every location and that seems like a lot of unnecessary work since it doesn’t benefit II in any way.

I would agree, and I think we also put too much importance on what week to book and deposit and in the end the difference might only impact trying to get the top 2-5% of exchanges through OGS. We have placed less importance on what weeks we reserve. We have reserved early May weeks as well as Memorial week and some others at Grande Vista and Harbour Lake and don't notice any real difference in what we can exchange into, but we seldom use OGS. Perhaps it matters more there, but if one is traveling off or shoulder season, the week reserved doesn't really matter either. The Marriott priority is what makes the biggest difference.

Totally agree.
And we place requests all the time and even in those cases I think getting the request in early and having the Marriott priority is better than waiting to reserve a week that is a few points higher in TDI.

I would chose the latest one you can get with a TDI of 150. That may give you an extra couple of months to travel if needed.
