Hi, we're headed to Legends Edge in Panama City March 3 for a week. We've never been. What is there to do? See? Eat?

Also, is one building better for a water view than the other?

Thanks in advance!

St Andrew’s State Park has a spectacular beach! Also the area is known for several excellent golf courses.

Sharkys is a great beach restaurant. Pub food with live music. Pier Park is neat to explore, food and shopping galore.
Driving into Destin/Sandestin is nice. There is a great outlet mall there as well

Over the years I've read about Destin. Didn't Disney start a community there?

I believe you are thinking about DVC’s resort in Vero Beach, it is spectacular.

The other resort you may be thinking of, is the once Club Intrawest resort in Sandestin, then called Diamond and Embarc, and now called Hilton Grand Vacation Club in Sandestin.

You might also be thinking of Seaside
Nothing to do with Disney but a very interesting planned community
IMHO well worth the trip to go and see

The drive down 30A is very interesting, especially if one plans to meander over to the Desin area (Outlets, McGuire's). Haven't been to the Museum at Eglin AFB but others have said well worth a stop.

It looks like we might have missed you. Thought our stay perhaps only overlapped for a couple days. I am curious what you thought of the property. So far, there isn't much in the immediate area except some 80s era condos and townhomes. It is at least a five to ten minute drive to get to a grocery store. I went to Winn-Dixie and Publix. Both smelled of seafood when you walked in the door. Yuck. Publix was worse.

As for restaurants, we don't eat out much but did go to Margaritaville because we had some vouchers from a Wyndham presentation. We found it better than we had expected. Though it is spring break and there are a lot of college kids in town, so the restaurant was packed on a Monday night. We also found Los Rancheros Mexican Restaurant in PCB to be quite good. They have a location in Panama City too, but the one in PCB seems to be closer.
