I told my physician I'd help him sell his Hawaii TS if I could. Then I asked him to tell me what he owns. Ugh. I'm not even sure I know what it is.

Anyone here familiar with this? They call themselves an "Association of Apartment Owners". Does this mean it was not developer-built? A nearby restaurant is closed and the association is trying to sell deeds for $2,500 and they're paying half the closing costs. It all sounds odd. Who manages the place?

Any info would be appreciated.

There are lots of those weeks available for trade in Platinum Interchange. Since it's Molokai, I wish him luck in unloading it.

It is a condo complex with a handful of timeshare units in the complex - maybe 5 or 6. It's hard to sell something on Molokai, because of the local economy and lack of amenities. It's not just a nearby restaurant that's closed - the two major resorts have closed - the only 2 on the island, and Kenani Kai is in one of the resorts. Most of the complex is residential.

In fact a Tugger has been trying to give one away for months.

If your Dr. is motivated, he should give it away and pay the MF's for a future year or 2 to sweeten the deal.
