Rick's ipad is slow and not working as well anymore. The price is so different!

Advice would be appreciated.

If you don't already know the difference, then the iPad air is the one you need.

I'm a techy guy and realized I probably didn't need all the features of the Pro and bought a refurb iPad Air 2 and saved a bundle.

Any specific suggestions on a trustworthy source from which to purchase a refurbished iPad Air2 --- and a recommended / acceptable price range?
Thanks in advance.

Go on apple dot com and scroll to the bottom of the page. You'll see a link for refurbished items. I always buy refurb on Apple because you get full warranty and it is packaged like new. I think most of the refurb products are just items that were returned and never had anything wrong with them.

My desktop, laptop and iPad are all refurb and I've never had an issue with any of them.

Thanks. Much appreciated.

Refurb Ipads from Apple (best) or Best Buy (good too). Come with one year; both have extended warranty available. May have some nice 'accidental damage' claim ability with extended warranty too.

There's others....but watch out for 30 day warranty units. Not good. Also, open-box units from Best Buy are usually sold as 'new' for the purpose of the warranty, but you need to make sure of the true warranty status of any unit you buy (open/refurb) beforehand in the store (get it in writing) and then check with apple once powered-up and logged in to make sure the unit warranty clock isn't already running or running with an erroneous date--compared to what your were told in-store.

I've bought all my Apple device at the Apple refurb store except my iPhones since they don't sell them there.

Never had the first problem with any device I've obtain there.

Cheers
