I'm hoping to use my banked wk for a trip to Baja Mexico. Fall, winter, spring or summer? When is the better time to visit?

We always go the second week of August because of school schedules and the fact that we own a fixed week. It is hot then, and if you don't like heat, you might not enjoy it as much.

Toward the end of August and beginning of September, there is more of a chance of tropical storms, but just about any other time is fine. I've been in April and it was delightful--warm in the daytime and comfortably cool in the evenings. The ocean water temp. is colder then than it is in August, though.

We really enjoy it the first two weeks in November. It is usually nice and warm and only partly cloudy at times. We had to change to the first week in December a few years ago because of a family issue and it was a bit cooler and lots more cloudy. Still enjoyed it but prefer the warmer weather. I would think October would be pretty good also. We have heard spring and summer are pretty nice too. In other words it sounds to me like it would be great anytime of year.

We also have gone in January the last 2 years (because it is soooo cold in the midwest) and enjoyed it even though it was more cloudy and somewhat cooler. WE could still do anything we wanted to.

was only there once but late april into may was FANTASTIC!

Been twice in Sept. first week VERY HOT. Once mid October 2005 VERY HOT.
Jan. 1st week 2006. PERFECT. May 2006 last week pleasant.
If you have a choice don't got in August, Sept, early Oct. everyone talks about how unbearably hot it is.

Thanks for the advice! I was looking for a nice fall(sept early oct) beach location. I'll try to exchange there next spring.
