I'm looking to check my title company's accuracy on the definition of the following for a Ca TS that is in my name only (not husband's):

Interspousal Transfer Grant Deed & Without Collections Instructions;

An "Interspousal Transfer Deed" is used here in California to transfer title between spouses or into revocable family trusts, to add a spouse to legal title, and for certain specialized circumstances (divorces, etc.). It does exactly the same thing as a Grant Deed but it avoids transfer taxes and Prop 13 reassessments (by virtue of the California Constitution and specific statutes).

I have no idea what the phrase "Without Collection Instructions" means but I would assume it means the title company is not to require payment from the Grantee to record the deed (i.e. it is a gift). But I agree with Dave M that the best answer to that question is the title company's answer.
