Ok, so I don't understand if I'm the only one having this problem. I have booked 7 Marriott reservations so far this year and each time I needed to call Marriott to see these reservations in my account. After booking and waiting one day to find the resorts in my Bonvoy account, there is always an error message saying to try again later, or contact Marriott. After calling Marriott each time, they try to explain that since the reservation was booked via Interval, I need to contact Interval. I never had this problem until 2025. Interval has nothing to do with placing the reservations in our Marriott accounts. So, has anyone else experienced this problem? Also, normally I would get an email from Marriott with the resort information. This isn't happening either. Contacting Marriott every time I book a reservation is a waste of time. Most of them don't have a clue about the Interval bookings.

Oh, one more thing. What happened to adding the Marriott reservations to our iPhone wallets? That's changed as well. Maybe that's an Apple iPhone issue.

Ps.

dioxide45, you are the best! I cannot thank you enough for all of the information you provide to us Tuggers.

( Sorry, I tried to remove this bold, but nothing happens.)

I have the same issue. You simply can't lookup the reservation online when logged in to your Bonvoy account. It always gives me an error. If I am not logged in, I can look it up and see the reservation. That said, I haven't tried to add the Bonvoy number online in well over a year, or more. I now use the mobile app to add the reservation to My Trips after looking up the reservation through the app. Once that is done you can see the reservation when you go into your account on Marriott.com.

I still get pre-arrival emails from the resort. I understand this comes based on the email address provided through your account with Interval International. It isn't tied to Bonvoy.

Shhhh. 🤫 The app is our last bastion of hope.

Are you thinking that Marriott is somehow blocking these types of reservations from being able to be searched and added to our Bonvoy accounts?

Interestingly, just now I tried to search for a January II reservation on Bonvoy while logged in and it came up fine. I didn't try to modify it to add a Bonvoy number yet because I don't usually do that until a month or so out as I may want to change the primary name between my wife and I, but I don't see why I couldn't have added it.

I have the same issue with not being able to lookup the interval reservation when logged in- but it always works as long as I logout first. It has been this way for at least the last year+.

Once I do this I have always been able to add my Bonvoy number and save it- and then going forward it shows in my Bonvoy account.

Lookup is one thing. But I have been unable to add II reservation to account on website. Only way is app. 🤫

Our Interval account is joint, with my name first (husband). Since I've reached Lifetime Bonvoy Platinum, I'm now working my wife towards Lifetime Plat.

This means that reservations arrive in my name, but I want her to get the Bonvoy elite night credits.

It used to be easy to log in to her Bonvoy account online, find the "missing" reservation using my name, and then add it to her Marriott account. But I haven't been able to do this for the past few years. I haven't tried the Marriott app. Will this type of reservation switcheroo work in the app? Any tips?

For now, I'm having to call the resort ahead of our stay to provide her Bonvoy number, and then verifying at check-in that they have it.

I think this is a different situation. You are wanting to add her Bonvoy number to your reservations. You really shouldn't do that. If a stay doesn't post, it could be harder to get a missing stay request fulfilled.

Instead, you should set her up an online web profile to log in to the II website. Make all bookings in her name through II. This may not ensure that when you search for a reservation under her name that it will come up under her name on Marriott.com but it should more times than not. If that doesn't work, you can call II and have them update the account so her name is always sent to Marriott for all reservations made through II.

When all of you are saying you've made multiple reservations through II are you talking about exchanges? Getaways? Bonus certificates?

I am having issues adding the Marriott reservations for exchanges and AC's. It doesn't matter which is booked on Interval. I'll use dioxide45's suggestion going forward using the mobile app. Thanks everyone.

All of the above. For my latest I exchanged my lockoff for two 2-bedroom weeks when they had the free upgrade promotion (no larger unit fee).
Had to do the log off, lockup then add it.

Thanks for the update.

Thanks. I was also looking for a solution to add my II reservation to my bonvoy account.

Symptom:
In bonvoy app (logged in), missing an upcoming stay -> I was able to find my II reservation, but there's an error when I tried to add, saying I needed to call the customer service.

How I solved it based on this post's suggestions:
In a web browser, I went to marriott.com's look up a reservation page by searching it in google, but without logging in it. I was able to find my reservation again.
A member join or log in page popped up shortly, but killed it and just updated the guest information. After I added my bonvoy member number to it, the reservation showed up under my account.

Missing stays or add an upcoming stay to your list of trips? A missing stay would technically be for after you checked out and didn't get credit for the stay after 10 days.

Oops sorry no upcoming stays. Edited my post

The app worked like a charm for me to add my 6 II exchanges into the bonvoy app. You must have the marriott conf # and the check-in date

Note must use the Marriott Confirmation number (8 numbers & begins with a 7,8 or 9) not the Interval conf # The marriott # is on the printed II confirmation email.

It is not in the email until you print it? Interesting coding. :ROFLMAO:

I suspect they were using that Marriott confirmation number because it seemed to work on the website when they were logged out. If they were trying to use the Interval Conf # it wouldn't work on the website either.

This is what is happing to me. I am no longer able to add upcoming stays via the app and have to call. I can find the reservation but I get the error when I tried to add it. I will try your way in the future but it’s a bummer now that the app no longer works for me.

Nothing works. I tried all the suggestions. Chat wanted me to contact II. Does calling work?
So you tried the app and that didn't work?
You tried adding it on the website not logged in to your Bonvoy account?

Question about this process: Our II confirmations list both Rick's and my names. I tried the confirmation # with the Marriott app on my phone. It won't load. I tried my laptop to see if Rick's name is on the confirmation without logging into Bonvoy on my laptop.

I guess we will wait until next Sunday, check-in day, and have them do it there. I see no way to add the reservation # from my II account (begins with 9, so this is the Marriott #).

(I just started using my phone for things other than emails and texts.)

If your exchange was recently confirmed, it takes a day or two for Marriott's system to be updated. I had the same experience as others - I can pull up the reservation on the Bonvoy app, but received an error when trying to add it to my account, but with the browser, I found my reservation using the lookup tool and I added my Bonvoy # under guest information.

Try both your and Rick's names. If neither is showing up, Marriott is not updated yet.
