When you don't give a damn to others when you know jolly well that your action could harm others, then by definition you are socially irresponsible. Yes, it includes DUI offenders. When you believe each person is responsible for him or herself only, then how can you believe you are being socially responsible? You can be selfish and if that's how you want to live your life, so be it.
I never said I believed I was or wasn't socially responsible. I find the phrase "socially responsible" to be repugnant and couldn't care less what others think of my point of view. So, since the CDC today said vaccinated people don't need to wear a mask, would you agree that you no longer need to wear a mask to be "socially responsible"?
And yes, I will live my life by my beliefs, not other's beliefs. You have your life guidelines and I have mine. If they aren't the same, neither one of us will care.
BTW,. there are a million things one can do in life that "could" cause harm to another. You are probably guilty of some of those things yourself and yet you and everyone have done or still do them so maybe you should tone down the holier than thou rhetoric.
