what happened to timeshare forums

Tried to head over there after a long time of not visitng and it seems it is gone. When did that happen.

Timeshare Forums was a different BBS and I think it was sold years ago.

It has been a long time ago. Big Frank sometimes posts here.

TS4MS seems to be defunct. I noticed a while ago that there was very little, if any posting, activity. I don't remember if I checked in the past and the site didn't load, but it doesn't work now.

They’re referring to TS4MS. Many here also referred to it as OY or Over Yonder.

Yes, I haven't seen anything new there in years and for at least a year I cant even get to the site, I just get "cant reach this page".

TS4MS was my first introduction to forums of timeshares while living 'over yonder'. They helped me to get out of and rescind a 'Club La Costa' timeshare in the Costa del Sol.

It started as a splinter group from TUG by a bunch of people who wanted something different. They had some fantastic people doing great things for timesharers, but as time went on some of those people died or vanished and others just stopped posting ending some features that made the forum desirable and active.
