What confusing name do you think that HGV will use for BG?

Hilton Grand Vacations Club
Hilton Vacation Club
Hilton Club

running out of letters!
So the iteration after this one will be just Hilton:

Hilton Grand Vacations Club (HGVC)
Hilton Vacation Club (HVC)
Hilton Club (HC)
Hilton (H).

At that point, if someone asks what did you do on your trip, you could say we went to H and back.

Hilton Vacation Club. HGV has too much brand splintering as it is. Better to keep it simple. They will bring certain resorts up to Hilton standard (like they are with Diamond) and leave some others without the brand (like they are doing with other Diamond properties). I suspect some properties are already t a certain brand level, they just need to bring in the brand level accompaniments (like bedding and towels).
I agree it gets confusing and leads to frustration among owners if they keep creating sub brands/ clubs that sound like you should be able to use but can't.

I understand some confusion can work to their favor in sales presentation, it will hurt them on repeat sales if people feel mislead.

Confusion?!? How many hotel brands does Hilton have again?

They could just call it the "Tru (by Hilton) Vacation Club"
Personally i think most of the hotel chains have created more brands than needed, but that works a bit different than the timeshares.

I can easily go to Hilton or Marriott.com and book any of their properties if I am OK with the price per night. With a timeshare they send out announcements about places, but i cant book them if i don't belong to specific club or sub-club

HGVC/BG, they are going to use the KISS theory.

New Idea: Call it "TruGreen" and wait to see how long it takes for the yard fertilizer company to sue HGVC.

Since they are going for a younger crowd, I’m saying they call it The Hilton Slaps Vacation Club.

For those that don’t know, Slaps means it’s great or awesome. At least that what my students tell me. Here it's used in a sentence:

That resort we stayed in slaps. Because of it, our trip was fire, brah.

Gosh, I must be getting old, like maybe my parent's age.

Hilton Basso Profundo????

Hilton Vacations Group

Maybe change from Club to Group? Who knows.....

Bluegreen was always a strange name for a timeshare. Blue is RCI term for low-season weeks. Green was always II's term for low-season weeks. Stupid name. I told this to BocaBum99 years ago.

High-dollar marketing consultant says, "I've got the name: Hilton RedPlatinum!"

Hampton Vacation Club--it fits on their "upper middle whatever" chart alignment between timeshare brands and the Hilton Hotel brands. Plus, it would have the confusingly-exact-same-abbreviation as HVC (BONUS! A feature, not a bug!)

But Home2Vacations would also be a strong choice, based on the first reason.

HGV, you can send your re-branding/new name market research budget line item via check to @TUGBrian, and you're welcome. ;) TUG is cheaper than any marketing firm.
