What color bedding should I buy?

I purchased this color bedroom set, and now I do not know what color to use with it. I am trying to stay away from any more blue. Any suggestions??

I love that color!

Ecru......
Jim, your wide-spectrum skills never fail to amaze me. Ecru would look great. I'd also consider a crisp white or a pale yellow. It depends on what look you are trying to achieve.

You can buy different colors and change the look from week to week. What color is the bedspread? The throw pillows? If they are patterned, pick a color from the pattern to use for your sheets.

The furniture is beautiful! Love the color choice.
Depends in part what color your walls are. I do like ecru, also very fond of crisp bright white, and in the right setting chocolate brown is very nice.

Ecru...- Mostly I just like the word. If I could only find a convincing 'tongue-in-cheek' smiley for when I'm just kidding. Not that I have anything against ecru.. :) Jim

I'm partial to dark colors, so I vote for crimson for contrast.

....but, I like the ecru color as well.:)

I was thinking yellow. A blue/yellow/white combo can be very cheery, yet soothing enough for sleep.

I'm horrible at matching stuff and decorating but yellow was instantly my first choice.

Thanks everyone for your help. OK, so after many months of agonizing over this, I made a decision. It was the beige/ecru suggestion that helped. Plus, I went online again today and I got 70% off AND free shipping. I also failed to mention that it is for our house in South Carolina so I wanted something southern looking. Here goes::D

while I like the seafoam color of the furniture, and I like the palm trees in the bedding, I would not have, personally, put the two together. Is your headboard the seafoam color? I think I would have went with either, bedding that had the seafoam in it, or a solid color bedding with pillows that had the seafoam in it. The palm trees is very common in florida, and is typically paired with darker wood.

My DW says a pink, red, or maroon -- a wine color.

no, definitely a neutral color. No reds. This color does not lend itself to being a good compliment to the red family. For ideas I would either go to restorationhardware.com, or potterybarn.com. I'd look for you but right now we are getting ready to have bday cake! But I love to decorate, so if you want me to look around, I'd be happy to.

Sounds like the decision has been made, but I like the idea of a mocha or even a chocolate brown on one wall. Another option would be to go with a dark teal background. Ecru would work too.

It'll be interesting to see a picture once you've got everything together.

I like the furniture and the bedding, but I'm having trouble combining the almost-pastel kind of fun furniture with the subdued more sophisticated bedding colors.

I opened the two links next to each other and zoomed both; the pale sheet definitely goes with the furniture, and I think the palm trees will if they're more sea-foam-ish than avocado.....

Please do post the results!

So this is how my bedroom looks. I hope this works because I have never posted a picture before.

I could not see the pictures. How do you feel about it?

The color of your furniture is the same as the color of my walls at home. I love the color so much that I had my office painted the same color. The painter kept on telling me, "its really green.." After about the 10th time he said that to me, I asked him why he kept saying it. He told me that he always painted shades of beige. He had never painted walls a pastel color before. Once the carpet got in, it toned it down alot.

I have had my (home) walls this color now for 10 years, The office has been painted this color for two years. I am always getting compliments on how soothing the office is.

I hope you love it!

I saw it in person. It looks very nice and it's not something I would have thought of putting with the blue.
