What are your favorite RCI properties? Looking for fun, new locations to explore

I believe a fantastic vacation is all about enjoying the water and unwinding while still having fun activities nearby if you choose. That's why I absolutely love my two favorite timeshares: the HGVC Plantation Beach Club at Indian River in Stuart, Florida, which is right on the beach and the Sunrise Bay Resort in Marco Island, Florida, a cozy spot on the Bay. Both locations have plenty of options for things to do, catering to all kinds of interests! Happy exploring!

Any favourites outside United States?
I live in Aruba when I’m there 🤣
But I highly recommend playa Linda there…it’s between the Hyatt and holiday inn
Very lovely small complex
The marriotts are great
La cabana is ok, I’m just more of a fan of palm beach than eagle beach

We're big Smithsonian fans, and will not drive nor attempt to park in D.C.
The Wyndham Alexandria Old Towne is steps to the Metro, and it has a Smithsonian stop which drops you right on the Mall near the Museums. Get a Senior Metro Pass (if old enough) and enjoy the easy trip. And if you fly in, make it Reagan National, and it's a cheap Lyft or Uber to the resort. Extremely convenient. That's why Wyndham Alexandria Old Towne is one of our favorites. Never have used RCI for it, though. Old Town Alexandria itself is also worth exploring - walk down to the river and take the free trolley back.

I own at Lake Placid Club Lodges in Lake Placid, NY. They are timeshare condos, not a typical resort. Of course the whole village really is your resort. Also like Massanutten Regal Vistas.
We visited Lake Placid Club Lodges maybe 6 or 7 years ago in March, driving from Maryland in near blizzard conditions. We almost decided not to go because of the storm, but I'm so glad we did.

We had a unit with a nice view of Mirror Lake, which was frozen solid and covered with snow. We watched dog sledding and other winter activities while sitting in the living room by the fireplace.

It was the coldest place I'd ever visited, but I'd do it all over again. We spent a day visiting Canada, but didn't make it to Niagara Falls. We decided to leave a couple days early to avoid another snowstorm that was coming thru.

Wow definitely adding this to our 2027 summer adventure schedule!
If you like animals, add the Virginia Safari Park to your list!

We also loved the location of Wyndham Old Town Alexandria and its proximity's to the Metro. We actually took the Metro from Reagan to Old Town Alexandria. We made good use of our 7 day passes. We went to so many places. The passes also work for DC Circulator bus. Able to take that from one end of the National Mall to the other end.

Hey guys I’m looking to expand my horizons and check out new RCI properties. I live on the East Coast, but flying to the Pacific Northwest or Caribbean is no problem either.

What are your favorite RCI locations and what’s it like in that area? What are your favorite ways to spend your time there?

My favorites so far, in no particular order, are:

The Quarter House in New Orleans
- love the historic architecture, amazing food, and lively atmosphere

Honorable Mention: La Belle Maison Club Wyndham

Smugglers Notch in Vermont
- love driving around Vermont during early October to see the leaves change colors

Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek in Orlando
- great resort for being close to Disney, fun to hang out at the resort when you’re not feeling another park day

Smugglers Cove Resort in Anna Maria Island
- quintessential, old-Florida beach timeshare on one of the best beaches on the Gulf

Honorable Mention: Umbrella Beach Resort

West 57th Street Hilton in NYC
- great location in Billionaire’s Row just a couple blocks away from Central Park

Honorable Mention: The Central at 5th
You are above my pay grade. I am a member and love Lifetime in Hawaii.
