Of exchanging a Grande Vista 1BR Platinum.....

For either of the following..

Harborside Resort at Atlantis
Westin St. John

I really would like to visit more of the Caribbean islands. I have been to Jamaica, and will be soon able to say Aruba also!

I am a bit afraid of exchanging into properties that don't have the big names such as Marriott, Westin, Sheraton. Can I really rely on II's 5 star rating?

Also...
Beaches Sandy Bay in Negril, Jamaica is listed in the II trade book. Has anybody ever seen it available?

Both of those resorts are among the hardest trades to get. Harborside is a bit easier to get than WSJ. You may be able to get Harborside as long as you are very flexible and you dont need a holiday week. WSJ is very very difficult to get.

I would try to reserve a holiday week at GV and then put in an ongoing search with II, being as flexible as possible.
