What are Fairshare points?

A few basics re: "What are Fairshare Ponts?"...

Posted in the wrong forum...this is for Wyhdham. Sorry!

Your inquiry will likely get moved over to the Wyndham forum by a moderator, but I'll answer it very briefly in the meantime. Fairshare Plus points were / are a Wyndham "points currency". They still are, but for the past few years they are now known as Club Wyndham Plus points instead. Same thing, new name...

The value of these "points" is unique within Wyndham. There is no direct correlation with any other different points "currencies" (such as RCI Points, Hyatt points, etc.) In fact, each and every other system's points are also unique to and within their own system --- there is no accurate or reliable "conversion chart".

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the explination. I did report the post asking for it to be moved.

So basically there's no diference between Wyndham "FairShare" points and Wyndham "UDI" points? I'm looking at a few resales and some are listed as FairShare while others are listed as UDI. I just want to make sure I'm comparing apples to apples when deciding what we want.

Read the Wyndham Primer at the top of the Wyndham forum for a basic understanding of the system. Then you will better know what questions you still have :)
