I am a long-term owner of Worldmark.

What are your thoughts on value of buying Westin points on TUG, etc? Good/bad value? Does the interval trading network add value? What is a current market price of Westin points? Any comments or concerns or ideas?

This may be better in the Vistana forum as you’ll get more eyeballs who are familiar with the system.

When you say “Westin points” do you mean Westin Flex (or Aventuras for the Mexico Westins), StarOptions or Abound points? All three ownership types can be used to access Westin resorts and have their pros/cons.

You can connect your WM to II (if you wish.)

If you buy a "mandatory" Westin or Sheraton, you will get StarOptions which are points that you can use to reserve other Westin/Sheraton resorts directly, without trading. Have you read the Vistana topic.

If you buy any other Westin/Sheraton, those are deemed "voluntary", and they trade as "weeks" via Interval.

I presume you would like to exchange into some Westin resorts? which ones?

I sure appreciate the help. Thank you. I was not aware WM owners could use II. I would like to exchange into Westin Lagunamar in Cancun. Westin club in Maui also has a great resort in Maui.

Please note that Lagunamar has very few 2br units deposited to II. If you want/need a 2 br, you may have to get a 1 br and then add a Studio as a Getaway.
For Maui, the Westin Nanea WNA deposits some 2 br units, but the other two KAA, KAN have not deposited 2 br units in several years.
