Westin Princeville or Marriott Kauai Beach Club?

This is the main reason and my top complain about Marriott Hawaii resorts. Marriott's locations in Hawaii in both Kauai and Maui are the best. Without a full kitchen and washer in the room, it just makes the timeshare stay different. Also the subpar resort condition is another problem.
We have stayed at KBC a few times and really like it. The trade-off for the kitchen/laundry for us is that the units are very decent size, with two bathrooms, and although not a full kitchen there is a 3/4 refrigerator and enough space to cook with restaurant options within walking distance. We have never found the laundry busy. The grounds are beautiful with a lot of incredible art. The gift shop/sundry store is will stocked and has some limited, but real, food (not fresh produce, but things to make a meal if needed).

The location mid-island is a real plus; access to both the north and the south without spending all day driving.

So, has Waiohai been updated yet ?
If not, when will that take place ?

Thinking about it for 2024.
