And that’s it, no more. Definitely done!
For anyone who has been... can you explain the difference between the 2 resorts side by side. One of them is labeled Baja. what of the benefits/disadvantages of each of the resorts. I’m specifically looking at a 1 bedroom premium to use some of my VSN star options.

I’m not an owner at Los Cabos but I’ve stayed there and it’s very nice. Baja Point (at the top of the hill) was a separate timeshare that Vistana acquired when it foreclosed...at least that’s what they told me. The 1 bedroom only sleeps 2, but it’s really nice and spacious with a nice kitchen. Baja Point has a large pool with kids area at the base of the hill (accessible by elevator), and really nice adults-owners only pool with a bar/grill at the top. There’s also a sit down formal restaurant.

The main (larger) Cabo resort is down the hill and you can walk between them or they’ll shuttle you in a golf cart. We walked and it was quick but a lot of steps. There are no 1 bedroom units at the larger resort (as far as I know). But the studio is really nice and has one of the best studio kitchens I’ve seen. It can sleep 4 with the sofa bed, but I wouldn’t want to pack 4 people in a studio. The larger resort has a spa, gym, and a few different casual restaurants (with music in the evening) and a very small store. There’s also a pool, hot tub and activities. The rooms all face the ocean and have great views (although there are some on the end that are probably so-so.

You have to have a car, take a taxi, Uber or bus to get to Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo for groceries or to get to restaurants outside of the resorts (we take Uber, it’s easy and cheap).

We didn’t stay at either resort but we did visit both of them in December and was shown a unit in each. We preferred the unit at Baja Point as it is a more traditional timeshare unit set up. The units in the Westin are hotel conversions and while nicely done didn’t seem as spacious. The pools at both resorts are very nice.

Best regards.

We stayed there last Sept. We had a studio in the main bldg. It had a great view and the studio kitchenette was very good. We plan to go back again, but will try for a 1 bdrm in the Baja Point buildings. They are very nice. We took a cab to get groceries. Uber wasn't allowed into the complex so you would have to walk with your groceries. We rented a car at reception for a day trip to La Paz and Todos Santos. It was quite reasonable and if you time it right you could use the car the next morning to get groceries. While we could not swim in the ocean, walking west along the beach was very nice. We used the owners pool in Baja Point most days which is small but quiet.

What everyone says.

We stayed in a studio in the main. It was fine with 2 small kids, but I wouldn't recommend 4 adults or even 2 mid-teens/2 adults.

We used the pool at Baja point, and a lot of elevators and walking. The lobby is at the top, and 3 elevators down to get to the main BP pool.

The pool at the main hotel was bigger, BP was quieter. There is a way to walk between the two with less up/down steps, I forgot the floor by there is a connection from the 8th or 9th floor of the main resort.

There is a new and nice grocery less than 1 KM away on the other side of the highway, but I still wouldn't walk.
