A while back there was a thread about bringing your own drinks to the pool at WKOVR. I have the same question about the Westin Los Cabos - we have never been and are wondering if that is viewed as acceptable (not a cooler but a yeti from the room).
Hi. I haven't been there in about 2 and a half years, but when I was there, I had a YETI where I kept my diet coke and ice and no one bothered me.A while back there was a thread about bringing your own drinks to the pool at WKOVR. We do the same. We just like the taste of bottled water better. We brushed our teeth with the tap water and made ice as well. No problems. We have been visiting Los Cabos for over 20 years. We have stayed at 5 different timeshares to include Club Regina, which is next door. We have never had a problem with the Tap Water. We make coffee and tea. We cook with it. Some people buy multi-gallon filtered water at the Grocery Stores for drinking. But this is a taste issue not a health issue.

Do you remember the kind of coffee maker? Trying to figure what kind of filters to bring. We were there in June and had no issues bringing drinks. Just don’t use glass cups and keep it on the down low and you’ll be fine.
I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anything other than basket-type filters at a Vistana property. Somebody can correct me If I’m wrong, and I haven’t stayed at every property, but over twenty years and many stays I think it’s always the basket type.Do you remember the kind of coffee maker? Enjoy! We are headed there the 30th for the first time. we are heading for Los Cabos tomorrow and I’ll be bringing basket filters and hoping I’m right!
How did you reserve? With StarOptions? Did you reserve Baja Point? There are sometimes issues with what you see on Marriott.com. I would expect you would receive what you reserved if you reserved through Vistana.com.I'm suddenly very confused about what room location we should expect at Westin Los Cabos.
The original confirmation email from Marriott says "The Westin Los Cabos Resort Villas" and for room type, says "2 Bedroom Larger Villa, 2 King..." So originally I thought we were going to be in the main resort with the roughly 1200 sf unit.
But on the Vistana website, the reservation says "The Westin Los Cabos Resort Villas & Spa Baja Point"; it shows a photo of Baja Point, clicking on the resort name takes me to the page for Baja Point. The room type shows as "2 Bedroom Premium Villa" – but that room type doesn't seem to exist at Baja Point. Baja Point only has a "Two-bedroom Lockoff Villa" which is 1775 sf.
Obviously I'm hoping we are at Baja Point as the website indicates, but there is lots of conflicting information. The only "Two Bedroom Premium Villa" I see is in the main property, not in Baja Point.
Is the website just screwed up and it conflates the two properties?
I reserved with SOs, although (in another strangeness) the confirmation says I used Aventuras points (which I don't even own.)How did you reserve? With StarOptions? Did you reserve Baja Point?
