Last year, we tried to get a xmas week at Lagunamar - we have a platinum plus week there. Units showed as available, but not for our ownership. Vistana said the available units were only oceanfront - which was not our ownership. Does anyone know which are the best units that are not "oceanfront" units to request? We just made a reservation for next year, and want to request a unit with a good view.
Thanks!!

Honestly, the views at Lagunamar are all pretty good. Just request 4th floor or above and you will be above the palm trees. Also consider if you want to be closer to the pools/ocean or closer to the mail lobby for it's exit out to the street.

I’m at Lagunamar right now for the first time. We are hillside owners at WSJ, but we got second floor of building 14 (which is oceanfront) at checkin around 1PM. Our view from the second floor is great. They offered us 4th floor same building if we wanted to wait, but we took what was ready. Maybe it’s an anomaly or luck at the time of checkin, but you still might get what you want.

I agree with blondie though...with the way the resort is laid out, all of the buildings are going to have a great view.

We prefer a higher floor closer to the main lobby. The walk from building 2 is getting long for us!

We were at this location in June (we are WSJ transplants). We arrived early (1pm) and even though they had assigned us to a building where the room wasn't ready yet, they heard we were first time visitors and moved us to a better location. Building 7, and the top floor in the building is what we got.

With the the large palapa structure near the pool, I'm sure the lower floors of buildings 2, 3 and 4 have views that are a bit obstructive.

I like building 9 because it is quieter as the pool is not used for activities. It is farther from the lobby but close to the sports bar especially happy hour at 5 pm. Close to parking if you have a car. Excercise is good.

we stayed in building 6 (very close to the reception), 3rd floor and we had a beautiful view of the ocean and the pool. The pool changes color at night so the view is pretty at any time of the day/night. I am not sure about the second floor but i bet it still beats the average view at most resorts (especially the parking lot view at some resorts lol)
