Westin Lagunamar Spa

Prices seem a bit steep

We are at Lagunamar now. Wife was interested in a massage, but the prices made her blanch. $120-$136 for 50 minutes. $84 for 30 minutes.

Live Aqua next door seems to have massages for $60 or so.

I had the Aspire massage last Wednesday with Lilliana (80 min $147.00) and the Heavenly massage (80 min 137.00) last May right after the spa opened. Both massages at the Lagunamar were the best massages I've had in Cancun. Before the Heavenly spa opened my "go to" spas were the JW Marriott and the Live Aqua and in my opinion the quality of the massages at the Westin are really good. facilities are new and employees are very helpful in the spa area. I really like the private Woman's area at the JW which includes a woman's only jacuzzi but the massages there have been hit or miss. I don't think you will be disappointed. The therapist have been giving chair massages out by the pool so you can visit with them before you book an appointment. Our friends highly recommend The therapist names Carlos. The massages at the Live Aqua are also very nice. I hope the rain in cancun has ended and you are having some picture perfect days.

We are going in a few weeks (President's Week) - have been there for the past three years. This will be the first year we are going as [resale] owners.

What discount do owners get at the spa and restaurants?

Owners Discounts

Be sure and stop by to see your concierge when you arrive. You will receive an owners discount card for 20% savings on food only in the restaurants. You have to remember to present the card to your waiter or the discount is not applied. I also received 10% off my spa services.
