I'm planning a short vacation to Kierland to scope it out before purchase.

Staying in the smaller one bedroom lock off side.

This is for our sanity because we are traveling with young children.

Is there a regular door that separates the bedroom from the living room?

I'm asking because according to the floor plan on their website, there is no door
separating the bedroom from the living room in the smaller unit.

I called the front desk and they said there is a door
but can anyone confirm?

Thanks,

James

Yes, there is a pocket door between the bedroom and the living room/kitchen area. We stayed in the smaller one bedroom with our three young kids (one was in a crib) and gave my in-laws the larger bedroom. When the door is closed, it makes the living room area very dark so we would leave the microwave light on at night for the kids. We had a great time. Have fun!

I checked out the Kierland villas when I was staying at another hotel in Scottsdale this past February. There is indeed a pocket door. Plus, I thought the smaller one bedroom was very nice -- great bathroom, nice sized living room and bedroom. I was impressed.

thanks

This is why I love TUG!

Thanks for the info. Calms my wife's heart greatly:)
