[Westin] Ka'anapali Shuttle question

There seems to have been a lot of discussion about the Westin shuttle that may require you to show an ID.
That's probably because this is the Westin BB ;)

You are right though, Maui bus and the Kaanapali shuttle are also great for getting about Kaanapali and Maui. We've had some fun days out on Maui Bus for the price of a $4 day pass.

Is the bus pretty reliable and on schedule?
Yes we have found it to be very reliable and on schedule. Obviously they are always at the mercy of traffic conditions, especially between Kahului and Lahaina. It's a fun way to get around if you don't mind moving at 'Island' pace. We fully intended to use it again on a 10 day trip we have planned around Labor Day as I hadn't reserved a car but just managed to get one for around $30 a day so given the price and convenience (and saving around $200 on airport shuttles) we probably won't ride the Maui buses this year.
